The Kennel Club of Philadelphia presented its two annual benched dog shows over the weekend of November 11/16 ? 11/17 at the Fort Washington Expo Centre in suburban Philadelphia.
A single dog was named Best in Show (BIS) in both the Saturday and Sunday shows, triumphing over 1,770 entries on Saturday and 1,720 on Sunday.

In a remarkable performance, a single dog was named Best in Show (BIS) in both the Saturday and Sunday shows, triumphing over 1,770 entries on Saturday and 1,720 on Sunday. Champion Ale Kai Mikimoto on Fifth, a white standard poodle owned by Wendell Sammet and Karen LeFrak of New York, NY, also won the Penn Treaty Kennel Club dog show at the same location on Thursday. Friday?s Best in Show was Ch. Sunnyside Skylark Playboy, an English Cocker Spaniel, owned by E & P Praydick & P Flora of New Egypt, NJ.
About 15,000 spectators visited the historic and prestigious KCP shows over the two days. At the Saturday show, the KCP hosted the first National Dog Show Presented by Purina
